Palestine (Tine) Pendleton age 58 was born on Monday April 22 1889 and passed away at his home in Sneedville Tn. on Sunday Sept. 7 1947. He is survived by his wife Lucy McDaniel Pendleton and seven childrens. Daughters Mrs. Johnny Taylor, Mrs. Thurman Goode and Mrs Floyd Johnson all of Tazewell Tn. Miss Dora Pendleton of Sneedville Tn. Sons Lebert Pendleton, Lyle Pendleton And Roy Pendleton all Of Sneedville Tn. Three brothers Cole Pendleton of Ewing Va. Charlie Pendleton Of Tazewell Tn. Hop Pendleton of Oklahoma. Sisters Mrs. Laura Pendleton Fletcher of Jonesville Va. Mrs. Hattie Pendleton Gilbert of Morristown Tn. Mrs. Lucinda Pendleton Sandefur of Tazewell Tn. Mrs. Julia Pendleton McDaniel of Knoxville Tn. He also leave eight grandchildren. Funeral servicies were held Monday Sep. 8 1947 at the Little Mulberry Baptist Church where he was a faithful member. Rev. Issac King officiating. Interment in the Pendleton Family Cemetery Rebel Hollow Hancock Co. Tn. Coffey Stubblefield Funeral Home Of New Tazewell In Charge Of Funeral Arrangement.
