Ambrose was the son of Ambrose and Lovisa Kent Woodard both of Delaware Co NY. Ella was the daughter of Robert P. and Mary Farrar Young. Ambrose and Lovisa had moved from Delaware Co NY to Whiteside Co IL by 1860.
Ruth, her siblings and parents moved to Lane Co OR just prior to 1900. She as many siblings spent their lives within Lane Co. Her father and several brothers were in the lumber industry.
07 Jul 1915 Ruth married to John Edward McCall who was born in North Carolina, his parents are unknown.
Their marriage was blessed with John Edward b 1917, Albert C., Harry A., Benjamin K., Milo A., Wayne F., and finally a daughter, Ruth I., 1928. Albert was the only child not born in Lane Co OR, he was born in NC 1919.
Ruth was predeceased by 3 sons: Wayne, Milo and Harry.
John was, in his younger years worked at being a gold miner and finally became a farmer and passed away in 20 Feb 1971.
