David Earl Morgan, 61, died Saturday at his residence in Jacksonville, Fla., after a brief illness.
He was a native of Ware County and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a retired furniture maker for Custom Art Furniture Co. in Jacksonville. His parents were Johnny Oscar Morgan and Appie Bennett Morgan.
Survivors include a son, Ralph Huey Morgan, Jacksonville; two daughters, Helen Elizabeth Long, Jacksonville, and Billie Earlene Stone, Callahan, Fla.; a brother Eugene Morgan, Alabama; a sister, Beulah O'Berry, Manor; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hargraves Chapel in Millwood. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7-9 at Mincy-Fulford Funeral Home.
