b. 26 June 1914, Overton Co., TN – d. 18 March 2006, Cookeville, Putnam Co., TN, md on the 30th of March 1955, IN to Betty Musgrave Crabtree. Oswald Crabtree, s/o Pete Crabtree & Vara Davis.

ALGOOD Funeral services for Oswald Crabtree, 91, of Algood, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Trinity Assembly in Algood. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the church.

Mr. Crabtree died Saturday, March 18, 2006, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 26, 1914, in Overton County to the late Pete and Vara Davis Crabtree.

Mr. Crabtree was a member of Trinity Assembly. He and his wife owned and operated Pine Grove Trailer Park in Cookeville for more than 35 years.

His family includes his wife, Betty Musgrave Crabtree (whom he married March 30, 1955, in Indiana); two sons and a daughterinlaw, Rodger Crabtree of Michigan and Danny and Donna Crabtree of Branson, Mo.; five daughters and four sonsinlaw, Betty and Lou Sera of Michigan, Carol Simoneti of Jacksonville, Fla., Diane and Michael Aldridge of Monroe, Artis and Hugh Talley and Jean and Dave Bell, all of Cookeville; two sisters and a brotherinlaw, Avidine Sobiecki and Geneva and Roy Gaw, all of Cookeville; and
numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Billy Oswald Crabtree; three sisters, Velma Judd, Bertie Buck and Pauline Sweat; and two brothers, Sidney Crabtree and Lake Crabtree.
