Benjamin Perkins (Yale 1825), son of Benjamin Perkins (Yale 1785) was born at Camden, South Carolina, on May 12, 1803. His father had moved from Norwich, Connecticut, to Camden. Benjamin Perkins spent his life as a planter. He died at his residence at Kirkwood on February 24, 1868.
