Theodore Allen of Perry died at Hotel Kenwood on Monday after a two day illness of pneumonia, aged 52 years.
"Thede" as he was familiarly known had been working in the salt block here for about five months and boarded at The Kenwood. He was only taken sick Sunday morning but was seriously ill from the start.
Besides his parents and a brother, Frank Allen, who live in Perry, he is survived by a wife and three daughters.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Church with Rev. J. P. Garen officiating and the remains buried in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Catherine Allen and daughters, Mrs. Agnes Baker, Misses Blanche and Mary Allen, and Mrs. Howard Baker of Baldwinsville arrived here last night to attend the funeral of Theodore Allen. --Silver Springs Signal

PERRY HERALD, Friday, February 17, 1911: Anyone who will bring a picture of the late Theodore Allen to the Herald office will receive $2.00 for the same--Warren Allen.
