Ethylene, her step-brothers Harry Hicks and Buhel Hicks and her sister Mildred Causey were living at the Methodist Children's Orphanage at N.W. 122nd & Western Avenue in Britton, OK. It was a working farm. She fell from a truck being used to transport the children to and from school in Britton and was run over by the truck. She was buried under her step-father's name (Hicks). Her mother had died in 1925 and her step-father placed the 4 youngest children at the orphanage.

Miss Ethelyne Causey, 13 years old, daughter of George Causey of Coalgate, died Friday at Britton as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. Besides her father, She is survived by a brother, Orville Causey of Coalgate, and two sisters, Miss Mildred Causey and Mrs. Ed Smith, both of Lohn, Texas. Arrangements will be announced later by the Hahn funeral home.

Funeral services for Miss Ethelyne Causey, 12 years old, who died Friday at Britton, will be conducted at the Methodist church in Britton Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Burial will be in the Britton cemetery under direction of the Hahn funeral home. (THE OKLAHOMAN)
