Charles 'Charlie' Vollet, formerly of New York Charles "Charlie" Vollet, 97, formerly of East Setauket, N.Y., died on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Sunrise Assisted Living of Exton, following an illness. He was born on December 5, 1912 in New York, the son of the late Charles and Helen (Lawless) Vollet. He was the husband of the late Helen V. (Traendly) Vollet, who died on Oct. 24, 1985. Charlie retired after over 35 years as a beverage/liquor salesman. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Long Island, N.Y. He was also a member of the Elks Club of Long Island, N.Y. and enjoyed boating and fishing. He was the last member of his immediate family and is survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews. A Memorial Requiem MASS will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 404 Charles Street, Coatesville with Fr. John V. Oulds, celebrant. There will be no calling hour prior to the Mass. Interment was held on October 11 at the Washington Memorial Park in Mount Sinai, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Charlie to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements by The Labs Funeral Home, Inc. of Honey Brook.
