He was the retired owner of Dodge Brothers Cafe on Third Street, from 1928 to 1945, and Port City Bonding Agency. He was a native of Alexandria and a resident of Baton Rouge.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and James Dodds; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Barbra Dodge; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Marcelia Laprairie Dodge; his
wife, Adaline Sanders Dodge; and his siblings.
