Found Dead Under The Snow.
Friday morning at Benton the dead body of Joseph McNutt, aged 87 years, was found not far from his door under the canopy of snow which fell during the night. It is generally supposed that he had gone out during the evening after something, and had dropped down where the body was found the next morning. The aged man had lived by himself for fifty years or longer, so far as anybody knows, and always worked by the day, helping farmers and others, and when in the prime of manhood, he was counted a good hand. One farmer in the neighborhood he had assisted at harvest time for the past 47 years, without intermission.
