Franziska Maxemalan married Franz Lange on 24 February 1892 in Germany. After the couple came to the United States, they lived for many years at Klein Branch and for several years at Fredericksburg.

Services were held at the graveside officiated by Rev. Heckmann.

Survived by his children are - Sister Frances, Sister Juliette; one son - Frank Lange; three brothers - Joe Lange, Louis Lange, Anton Lange; four sisters - Mrs. John Stehling, Mrs. Henry Stehling, MRs. Otto Baumann, Mrs. Felix Rischner.
