Final rites for Roscoe Sullivan, 48-year-old Upson businessman, were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Jordan & Rev. L. E. Smith officiating. Burial was in The Rock Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Sullivan died Friday morning at the Upson County Hospital following an apparent heart attack. He owned and operated Sullivan's Grocery on the Barnesville Highway. Mr. Sullivan, a veteran of World War II, was a member of Twin Oakes Baptist Church. The native Upsonian resided on the Barnesville Highway.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Agnes Eubanks Sullivan; one daughter, Miss Renee Sullivan; three sons, Randy, Tom and Lee Sullivan, Jr., all of Thomaston; seven sisters, Mrs. Fred Edmondson, Mrs. Burl Edmondson, and Miss Virginia Sullivan, all of Thomaston; Mrs. Hartford Davis, Columbus; Mrs. Ed Stewart, BonAire; Mrs. Theodore Bishop, East Point; Mrs. Wilbur Elliott, Zebulon; three brothers, Milwood Sullivan, Barnesville; Jack Sullivan, Thomaston; Joe Sullivan, Jonesboro.
