Graveside service for Dr. David Nicholas Griffith, Sr. will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery, Independence, Mississippi, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, with Rev. Scott Bowen officiating.
Dr. Griffith was born May 25, 1917, to the late Laurence Clinton and Anna Sophia Caroline Mabuce Griffith and passed away on August 2, 2009 at the age of 92.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie B. Griffin, Opelika, AL; son David N. Griffith, Jr, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; daughter, Mary Jane Najor, San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Anna Najor and Katherine Najor.
