Springville- Private services were conducted at the residence Monday afternoon for Mrs Rhoda Ann Clements Hatfield, 88, widown and one of the oldest residents of this city, who died at her home here Friday night.

She was born at Manti 23 oct 1833, daughter of Alvin and Rhoda Gifford Clements. She came to Springville in 1867 and 3 years later married Mr. Hatfield, who later became a prominent mining main of this state. She subsquently made her home in Eureka, Provo, Salt Lake, and Calif., returning to Springville in 1921, the year of her husband's death.

She is survived by 4 sons and daughters- H. Theodore Hatfield of Salt Lake, Dr. Frank A. Hatfield of Los Angeles, Mrs. Beatrice Glazier of Springville, and Mrs Bessie H. Wilcox of Boulder City, Nevada. There are 3 grand children, one great grandchild, and two great great grandchildren. Also a sister, Mrs Deborah Clegg of Logan.
