Funeral services for Willie Mather York, 73, who died Oct. 28, 1966, were held Oct. 29 from the Friendship Methodist Church. Burial was in the Dorsey Cemetery with McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in charge. Mr. York died at the NMMC in Tupelo. He had a stroke. He was a member of the Friendship Methodist Church.
Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Willie York; four sons, Paul York of Marble Hill, Mo., John York of Verona, Harry York and Alford York, both of Dorsey; one daughter, Mrs. J. C. Poole of Dorsey; one sister, Roxie York of Fulton; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
