James Kelley, 88, of 2015 South Twenty-first, died yesterday at Bethany hospital. Mr. Kelley was born in western Kansas. He lived in Wyandotte county for eighty-one years and was an interior decorator. He was a member of the Catholic church.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine (Kate) Kelley, and a son Phillip T. Kelley, of the home; six daughters, Mrs. Margaret Bell, 1931 North Twenty-fifth; Mrs. Katherine Cramer and Mrs. Mamie Edmonds, 830 Sandusky; Mrs Hazel Henry, 1210 Southwest boulevard and Mrs. Dorothy Botteron, 2806 Wood; thirty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday at the Eads Brothers chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The body will lie in state after 6 o'clock tomorrow evening.
