Mrs. Ann Ancrum Expires At Camden
Great Niece of John C Calhoun and Widow of William Ancrum Dies
Camden, July 18 - After an illness extending over seven months, Mrs. Anna Calhoun Ancrum passed away from her home in Camden at 8 o'clock this morning. She was born in Abbeville 75 years ago, and was the daughter of the late John Albert Calhoun and Sarah Norwood Calhoun and she was of the few near relatives left of the illustrious John C Calhoun, being the great niece of this eminent statesman.
In 1878 she was married to the late William Ancrum of Camden and from this union the following children survive:

Maj. Calhoun Ancrum, United States Marine Service
Capt. Norwood Ancrum, United States Army
Andrew Ancrum, Columbia
Thomas Ancrum, Camden
Mrs. John D. Miller, St. Paul, Minn.
Mrs. Edward Eve, Beaufort
