CORNELIA ANN MITCHELL
The death of Cornelia Ann Mitchell occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Horace Akin, at 176 North Main street, Perry, on August 25th.
She was born in the town of Naples, Ontario County, March 17th, 1854, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Goodrich. In 1873 she was united in marriage to Mahlon R. Mitchell. About 38 years ago she became a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
She leaves nine children to mourn her loss, viz: John and Mahlon of Portageville; Adelbert and Jesse of Wayland; Hubert of Clifton Springs; Benjamin and Daisy Akin of Perry, and Mrs. Clyde Bidlack of South Danville. Also one sister and two brothers, of Michigan, and 29 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Evangelist Church, Wayland, N. Y., where she was laid at rest by the side of her husband.
