Services will be at Wilbur Christianson Funeral Home in Rockford.

Mr. Greenwood was born Aug. 23, 1905, in Richland County, the son of Joseph R. and Harriet Sprouse Greenwood. He married Anna M. Johnson Sept. 3, 1938, and she died in 1972. He then married Agnes Soles Jan. 15, 1974, and she survives.

He was a security officer with Barber-Collman Co. He was a former member of the Illinois National Guard, a member of the First Lutheran Church and Vasa Lodge IOV.

Other survivors include five sons, Donovan, Marengo, and Bart, all of Rockford; Gerald, Olney; William, Mahomet; Lawrence, Jr., Golconda; two daughters, Kathleen Bost,
California; and Lawraine Forsling, Rockford; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, his twin, Florence Davis, and Cloe Blank, both of Bridgeport; two step-daughters, Marie Skjoldborg, Texas; Brita Scheneberg, Wisconsin and Five step-grandchildren.
