Louise BARROW
Louise POWERS was born August 29, 1855 at Chariton, Iowa, and departed this life June 19th, at the age of 90 years, nine months and 22 days. She was united in marriage to David BARROW, December 5, 1873, who preceded her in death October 9, 1929. To this union were born three daughters and nine sons; Nellie CULBERTSON, who passed away December 9, 1920; Harley of Forgan; John of Liberal; Elizabeth SUMNER of Tonkawa; Archer of Forgan; Wade of Seattle, Washington; Dale PEDIGO, who passed away July 16, 1930; Thayer of Forgan; Dale of Cherokee; Fred of Stafford, Kansas; Percy of Laverne; Frank of Alliance, Nebraska. She leaves twenty-four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. she became a member of the Methodist church in her youth and remained an active member until her health failed. They came to Pratt county, Kansas in 1887 and moved to Beaver county in 1905 and lived on their farm two miles northwest of town until 1922 when they moved to Forgan where she resided until her death. She leaves a host of relatives and neighbors and friends who are grieved by her passing. She was ready and anxious to go and was ready for her Master's call.
