Martin Young Jr. and his wife Charlotte "Lottie" (Martin) Young have an interesting biography that begins with their fathers. One of the fathers of the couple fought in the Continental Army and the second father of the couple fought with the "Hessians" or Germans who were fighting on the British side. As history tells us, the Revolutionary War ended and peace was made.
Martin Young Sr. had a son, Martin Young Jr. The second father, John Martin, had a daughter named Charlotte Martin. Son and daughter of the two couples married and they became two of the pioneers of this great nation eventually settling in Fillmore County, Minnesota, USA.

Charlotte's year of birth may have been 1788 instead of 1786 - not certain about that two year difference.
