Daughter of Ezra T.T.and Hannah Gaylord Fisher of Albany Oregon. Granddaughter of the Rev. Ezra Fisher and Lucy Taft Fisher who came to Oregon in 1845 as missonaries of the Baptist Church. Harrit and John Thomas were married at the residence of the bride's parents near Millers Sation, Linn County, Feb. 1 1881 by the Rev. Isaac Dillon. They were members of the Primitive Baptist Church. Grandmother Crooks was remembered foundly by her grandson Hoyle Knox.
