Former Big Sandy resident, Edwin Kulbeck, 88, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 1977, in Havre. Funeral services were this Wednesday afternoon, with burial in Big Sandy cemetery.
He was born in New Auburn, Wis., and moved to the Big Sandy area in 1917 to farm and ranch. In 1923 he moved to Havre, farming and operating a dog kennel west of there. He married Florence Vipond, who later died. In 1943 he married Esther Anderson in Idaho.
Survivors are a son, Knute Kulbeck of Harlem; daughter, Jeanne Steele of Anchorage, Alaska; and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Sumdley and Mrs. Carrie Golden of New Auburn.
