M. Elaine Walker, born May 23, 1929 went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Elaine was born in Gate, Oklahoma. At the age of 4 her father, Ernest Zugg, passed away and with her mother, Ruth Rae Zugg, sister Ernestine and brother Ernest moved to Reynoldsville, PA. After graduating high school she met and married Roy J. Walker. They resided in Anita, PA before moving to Ohio.
In the late 1960's, she began work at the Warren Automobile Club, where she worked for several years. Upon her husband's retirement, they moved to PA for a short time and then to Florida to be with their children and out of the cold weather. They settled in Spring Hill in 1986.
Her husband and sons Joseph Charles Walker and James Roy Walker preceded her in death.
She is survived by daughters, Karen (Richard) Radacky of Spring Hill, Kathryn (Joseph) Parrino of North, VA. and daughter-in-law Susan M. Walker of VA. In addition she is survived by three nieces (Jonita, Marita, Linda) and two nephews (Ernest and Ricky), several great nieces and nephews, along with 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Elaine was a caring, loving person, mother, aunt, and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Her dear friends, Walter and Angie Clark, Zuby, Denota, Nola and her daughters, Kendra and Karen, who have all made her days happier, will have an empty place in their hearts and lives.
