Sarah O. Hartman, 86, died Sunday, November 14, 2010, in her residence. She was the wife of Harold W. Hartman, Sr. with whom she celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary this past September. Born in West York, on September 30, 1924, she was the daughter of the late William P., Sr. and Sarah Kerr Forker. She was a 1942 graduate of Annville High School and a 1947 graduate of Lankenaw School of Nursing. In her earlier years, she worked as a dental secretary for the Annville-Cleona School District. Sarah was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Annville and the Lebanon Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a self taught pianist and loved playing show tunes, enjoyed taking pictures, was an excellent cook, and always enjoyed sending cards to family and friends on their birthdays and on other special occasions. Surviving are two sons, Harold W. Hartman, Jr. and wife, Terry J. Hartman of Columbia, Robert E. Hartman of Palmyra; a daughter, Susan J. wife of Gary Barr of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bradley W. Hartman; four brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be in Mt. Annville Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, and also on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church in her memory.
