- Find a Grave ID
As a researcher of my family heritage, I have found many helpful tools. Find a grave is an excellent resource to share family records and the "extra" records I have cataloged in my surname searches.
I have only a few relatives at Mt. Olivet. I have attempted to present the records in an easily searched venue. Original data in spreadsheet form can be found here (http://lovelylane.net/home/internment-records/). This file has now been updated to include an indication that the grave has a stone or no stone. Check it out. The spreadsheet contained a burial date, but no date of death. Since the death date and burial date can vary significantly (re-interments or winter deaths), many memorials do not include a date of death. I am working to update the records to include an accurate date from the headstone pictures posted by another dedicated member.
Many of the memorials I added in 2009 have been duplicated by another user several years later. That user ignores my requests to delete duplicates. Please report the duplicates to help clean up the duplicates as you come across them. Thanks for understanding.
Anything I post may be used elsewhere but I ask that you properly attribute me as the source.
*****If you are related to the person I created the memorial for, I will transfer the memorial to you, with the exception of a few surnames I have a research interest in. Please use the Suggest a correction feature.******
