Alvin Brutlag, 78, Nampa, Idaho, formerly of Henning, died Thursday, February 19 at his home. Services will be Wednesday February 25 at St Pauls Lutheran Church in Henning.
He was born May 27, 1908 in Henning, the son of John and Adeline Brutlag. He attended school in Henning and later farmed there.
He married Carol Peterson Severson on December 28, 1948 in Henning. They made their home there until 1972 when they moved to Nampa. He was employed by the Golden Pheasant Restaurant for eight years then worked at the Nampa Care Center. He retired in 1986.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Caldwell, Idaho
Visitation will be all day Tuesday at the Belmont Funeral Home in Henning. There will also be visitation at the church one hour prior to services.
