Arnold W. Andrist, 69, a retired farmer and consturction worker, died Tuesday of a heart attack in Milton Township in Dodge County.

He was born Nov. 13, 1908, in Dodge County and married Doris Kautz Feb. 12 1938, at Berne. He farmed for many years, then worked for Kepps Undergorund Construction Co. in Rochester from 1960 to 1973.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Willard of Rochester and Delmar of Elgin, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Duane (Marlys) White, Denise and Charlotte Andrist, all of Pine Island; 11 grandchildren; three brother Adolph, Willis and Rolland, all of Pine Island, and two sisters Mrs. clifford (Blanche) Quimby of Pine Island, and Mrs. Joseph (Virginia) Elias of Waseca. He was preceded in death by one daughter and four brothers.

Pallberares are Ronald Trelstad and Ronald, Duane, Douglas, Virgil and Dean Andrist.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Mahler Funeral Home in Pine Island with the Rev. Charles Allan officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Island Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
