Lindeau Christensen, age 80, died March 15, 1998 in Kearns.

Born March 19, 1917 in Holden, Utah, son of Edward Peter and Ida Bennett Christensen. Married Shirley Anderson December 4, 1946 in the St. George LDS Temple. He was very active in the LDS Church where he served in many positions including Stake Sunday School President, Stake YMMIA President and for the past four years has been the official greeter in his ward. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren, they were very important to him. His daily walks with his friend kept him going these past few years. He taught his children that there is no such thing as too much work and to take pride in all they did.

Survived by wife, Shirley; sons, Dennis (Florence), Les (Barbara) and Brett (Nan); 13 grandchildren; brothers, Merlin, Joe, Grant and Bernard; sister, Ida Alvey. Preceded in death by son, Marlo; brother, Edward; sister, Martha.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at the Kearns 1st Ward, 4575 West 5415 South. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Thursday at the church, 9:30-10:15 a.m. Interment and graveside services will be held 3 p.m. at the Delta Cemetery, Delta, Utah.
