Agnes E. Hale, 79, Sparta, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 1994, in her home. She was born Jan. 27, 1915, at Bruner, the daughter of B.H. and Anna Whitsett Braden. On June 28, 1934, she was united in marriage to Frank Hale. She was a member of the Bruner Baptist Church.
Before retirement she worked 21 years as a cook for Riverside Inn and was previously employed by Producers Produce for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Clyde and Ray Braden.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; a son, Jim Hale and his wife, Carol, Sparta; two grandchildren, Jimmy D. Hale and his wife, Robyn, and Kit Lane Coffer and her husband, Troy; five great-grandchildren, Chantry, Colan, and Kristin Hale, and Blake and Macy Coffer; eight brothers and sisters and their spouses, Evelyn McHafie, Bruner, Flo and Bud Bannwart, Michigan City, Ind., Velma Walker, Garden Grove, Calif., Irene Swineburg, Sparta, Jack and Barbara Braden, Seattle, Wash.; Fred and Bessie Braden, Sparta, Ruth and Chet Aldridge, South Bend, Ind., and Betty Spohn, Garden Grove, Calif.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Rev. Eddie Bray officiating. Burial was in Bruner Cemetery.
