Born in Frostburg, a daughter of the late Samuel and Alice (Winter) McKenzie, she had resided in Cresaptown 29 years. Her husband, George L. Hershberger, preceded her in death. Mrs. Hershberger was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Cresaptown.
Surviving are two sons, Lyle V. and Ira J. Hershberger, both of Cresaptown; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas J. Barnes, this city; two brothers, Louis McKenzie, city, and Gallitzen McKenzie, Fairgo; two sisters, Mrs. John McKenzie, Ethridge, Montana and Mrs. Bertha Weber, city; and eight grandchildren. The body is at the George Funeral Home.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church and interment will be in the parish cemetery. The family requests flowers be omitted.
