The death of Thomas Wiard of Avon, occurred last Friday. He was 80 years old and one of the pioneers of the town, having resided there 78 years. He was the patentee of several valuable plow improvements which caused the implement bearing his name to become a great favorite through Western New York. The funeral was held Sunday.
