The youngest of five children born to Violet Blair Martin Wilder of the Martins of "Willowbrook" and General Wilber Elliot Wilder, winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor in the Indian Wars, Ms. Wilder was an artist and painter. Predeceased by her parents, her brothers Throop and Wilber, and her sisters Sylvia Gascoigne and Cornelia Wilder, the inscription on her monument states that she was "greatly loved by her brothers, sisters, and their children". A nonegenarian like her father, Ms. Wilder died in her 93rd year.
