Father: Marshall Mahlon Perrin (1836-1913), born New York
Mother: Mary Elizabeth Bostwick Perrin (1841-1928), born Ohio

Spouse: Frank Emery Seaver (1868-1936)Married, 29 Dec. 1898 at Floyd Crossing. Frank is the son of Henry Seaver and Emily Powers Seaver.

Children: Harold Frank (1901-1986); Edna Mary (1910-1998); Lloyd Henry (1913-1990). Fifteen grandchildren, too numerous to name individually.

Ella was reared with 3 brothers, George, Franklin, and Ernie and 1 sister, Emma on a farm at Floyd Crossing, IA. There is nothing left of the crossing now except an old storage bldg. Ella's father got a grant from the President to open a postal station at the RR crossing and it was called Ernie, named after her brother who died in a sledding accident So, though there was a post office there was never really a town. Ella's parents are buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Floyd Co., not far from Floyd Crossing.

Ella's birth name is listed in a family bible as Rose Ellen. However, there is no birth certificate, only an entry in the county records as Ella. Marriage information on file at the county courthouse also show Ella, as do death records. A mystery that may never be solved.
