Boonville. Oct. 30.—The death of William Herbert Jackson occurred suddenly Tuesday night. Mr. Jackson was a descendant of an old family identified at an early period with the history of Boonville. He was born in Boonville in 1858, a son of William Stuart Jackson, who was also born here. Mr. Jackson occupied the old homestead of 200 acres Just north of the village and for long had been a Prominent and successful farmer. He had officiated as master of the local grange for a number of years. In 1876 he married Flora E., only daughter of William H. Cole of Leyden by whom he had four children. Jennie, Laura and William Carl, and two daughters who died in Infancy.
