HARRISON D. SETTLEMEYER

Of the Homewood Retirement Center, Martinsburg, formerly of New Enterprise RD, died at 4:05 a.m. today, Aug. 19, 1974, at the center. He was born Jan. 4, 1893 in New Enterprise, a son of David R. and Minnie (Helsel) Settlemeyer, and married Ada M. Bowser on Aug. 19, 1960, in Cumberland, Md. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Lena S. Pote and Mrs. Ida M. Wyles of Roaring Spring, and J. Lloyd of New Enterprise; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a brother and a sister, Coy of Altoona, and Mrs. Grace Ferry of New Enterprise. Mr. Settlemeyer was a member of the United Church of Christ in Loysburg. He was a retired farmer. Friends will be received in the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and after noon Wednesday.

SETTLEMEYER--Services for Harrison D. Settlemeyer of the Homewood Retirement Center, Martinsburg, formerly of New Enterprise, will be held in the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury, at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. A.M. Gordon Jr. Interment in Holsinger Cemetery, Bakers Summit. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and from noon until the time of service Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Loysburg United Church of Christ.
