Born on Oct. 6, 1905, in Russia, he was the son of Julia Graff Peppler and George Peppler Sr. He was married on Dec. 7, 1924, in Longmont, to Rose Webber.
Mr. Peppler came to the United States with his parents when he was 1 year old. He moved with his family to the Fort Collins area where he attended area schools. Mr. Peppler then farmed in the Longmont area after he came here in 1920 from Fort Collins. He was the former owner and operator of Campsite, a recreation business, until he sold the business to his son. Mr. Peppler was a member of Christ Congreational Church.
Vic is survived by his wife, Rose of Longmont; a son; a daughter; 2 brothers, Jacob Peppler, Longmont and Henry Peppler, Mead; a sister; 5 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
