Anthony, 38, of Fowlerville, MI, passed away Tuesday, at his home. He was the son of Nicolaus and Cheryl (Boczkowski) Alongi. On August 30, 2002 he married Michelle Rushlow in Hillman, MI and she survives. Tony had lived in the area since a year ago, coming from Southgate. He loved to be outside working on his home and on cars. In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Joseph Alongi of Warren and Lillian Alongi of Fowlerville; his mother, Cheryl (David) Scott of Hillman, MI; three siblings, Nicolaus Alongi Jr. of Hamtramck, Larry (Lisa) Alongi of Warren, and Dawn (Thomas) Fagan of Troy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 with Pastor Edward Rushlow officiating. Arrangements by Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge.
