Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Maxine E. Ford, 84, passed away peacefully at her home on November 9, 2010.

She was born October 20, 1926, in Boise, Idaho to George W. and Addie Mae Markham Ford. She united in marriage to Glen Ford in Vernon, Texas, August 14, 1948. She was a retired bookkeeper and a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Addie Mae Markham Ford; and four brothers, George P. Ford, Byron E. Ford, John Nathan Ford, John Merritt Kays Ford; and two sisters, June Kays Ford and Mildred L. Ford.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Glen Ford of Odessa; loving sons, Larry D. Ford of Spicewood, Texas, Danny M. Ford and Connie of Odessa, Monte L. Ford and Kathy of San Marcos, Texas; and loving daughter, Sandy J. Patrick and Bruce of Odessa; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Pallbearers will be, Corey Ford, Colin Huff, Josh Huff, Ryan Ford, Chris Padilla, Zane Patrick, Joe Burton, and David Burton. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Baggett and Bud Thomas.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, November 12, 2010, with family gathering with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Odessa Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Sherwood Church of Christ 49th St. and N. Dixie Blvd. with Lonnie Hamil and Lynn Money officiating. Interment to be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
