Ruth Parsons

Ruth Storie Parsons, 73, Shasta Lane, Lenoir, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at the residence.

She was born May 13, 1930 in Caldwell County to the late Thomas Arville and Addie Louisa (Coffey) Storie.

She was a homemaker and a member of Hudson United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Parsons; and two brothers, Frank and Clarence Storie.

She is survived by three sons, Paul Douglas Parsons of Raleigh, Barry Michael Parsons, Jeffrey Neil Parsons, both of Lenoir; one brother, J.D. Storie of Granite Falls; one sister, Carleen Summerlin of Lenoir; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Pendry's Funeral Home, with the Revs. Tim Brittain and Joe Parker officiating.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.


The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at Pendry's Funeral Home.

Pendry's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
