Ethel McMillan 94, of Washington, Ill., formerly of Pleasant Plains, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Proctor Hospital, Peoria.
She was born Dec. 23, 1897, in Shoals, Ind., the daughter of John and Sarah Neal Davison. She married Albert Roy McMillan in 1917; he died in 1982. Also preceding her in death were two brothers and a sister.
Surviving are a son, Pat R. of Pleasant Plains; three daughters, Norma Sullivan of Washington, Kathryn Gustafson of Greenview and Ruth Hergenrother of Pleasant Plains; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Nell Cooley and Dorotha Kerley, both of Jacksonville, Grace Jones of St. Cloud, Fla., and Bernita Chapman of Fairfield Bay, Ark.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wayne Absher officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery, Farmingdale.
