Services for Dale G. Fillenwarth, an employee of E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. in the Town of Tonawanda for 32 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lester H. Wedekindt Funeral Home, 3290 Delaware Ave., Town of Tonawanda. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
Fillenwarth, 81, of Wynnwood Avenue, Town of Tonawanda, died Wednesday (April 12, 1989) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
A native of Britt, Iowa, he started working in 1930 at the Du Pont plant on River Road, where cellophane and polyethylene were produced. He retired in 1962 as safety supervisor.
During World War II, he was assigned to Du Pont's ordnance works in Memphis, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, the former Thelma E. Bonnar; two sons, Herbert W. of East Aurora and Dale R. of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Fern Reibsamen of Clarion, Iowa, and Daisy Higdon of South Bend, Ind., and two grandchildren.

He married Thelma E Bonnar 3 Feb 1932 in Buffalo, Erie, New York.
