PFC. NATHAN H. SANFORD
son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Sanford, Route 2, Hattiesburg, was killed in action in France, Aug. 15, according to word from the war department. He had been in the service since February, 1942, and had been overseas since April, 1944. Private Sanford was inducted at Camp Shelby and trained at Camp Polk, La., and Ft. Benning, Ga. He is a brother of Mrs. W. J. Force, 309 Second Avenue, Mrs. Prentiss Travis, Mrs. E. F. Hegwood, Louis, Otho, and Otis Sanford, all of Route 2, city.
