COALFIELD, Tenn. —

JACKSON, JERRY LYNN - age 66 of Coalfield, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 10, 2010 at his home.

Jerry was an active, lifetime member of Middle Creek Baptist Church where he served as Trustee and Custodian. Jerry was a graduate of Coalfield School and Carson Newman College.

He was self-employed, where he owned and operated Quality Supply for over 30 years along with other business interests.

He never met a stranger, always had a smile on his face, and could be counted on to make you laugh as well as a helping hand when needed.

Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by parents, Welch & Irene Worm-sley Jackson; father-in-law, Lloyd Napier; brother-in-law D.B. Daugherty.

He is survived by loving wife of 45 years, Sharon Jackson; 2 sons and wives, Richard and Melissa Jackson, Benjamin and Kristi Jackson of Coalfield; daughter, Stephanie and Gary Lively of Morgan Co; grandchildren: Kyle and Coutney Jackson, Kristen and Tabatha Lively and Brody and Madison Jackson; 2 brothers, Don & Madge Jackson of Roane Co., Jackie and Sherrell Jackson of Coalfield; sister, Naomi Daugherty of Coalfield; mother-in-law, Lois & Fred Hamby of Coalfield; brother-in-law, Mark & Sherenia Napier and H.B. Napier, along with special family members, Benson, Sierra, Samantha, Adam, Jenny, Elizabeth and David and a host of other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Middle Creek Baptist Church in Coalfield. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 pm with Bro. Ronald Guthrie & Bro James Foster officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 1 pm in the Estes Cemetery, Coalfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coalfield School "Christmas for Kids" Fund c/o Coalfield School P.O. Box 98, Coalfield, TN 37719 or to the Storehouse Ministries Thanksgiving Baskets, Wartburg, TN.
