A Peacock man in the Lee-Peacock Feud during Texas Reconstruction. After Capt._Bob_Lee was shot at Pilot Grove, Dr._W.H._Pierce moved him into his home where he tended to his wounds and ultimately saved his life. This angered the Peacock faction. Hudson rode up to the doctor's home and invited him outside. He then baited the doctor into a conversation about where his horse has come from. When the doctor replied that Hudson was a horse thief, Hudson shot him down and rode away. About a month later Hudson was killed and buried at Saltillo, presumably by Lee men.
