Frank C. Ackerman, 78, of Goldsboro St., formerly of Mt. Hermon Rd., died Monday in the Peninsula General Hospital , where he had been a patient two weeks.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Della Gravenor Ackerman. Mr. Ackerman was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Barcomb of Saugerties, N.Y.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Samuel C. White, Mrs. James C. Lokey, Mrs. Clinton B. Hill Sr. and Mrs. Violet Dashiell, all of Salisbury; two step-sons, Russell Gravenor of Salisbury and Fulton Gravenor of Sebastian, Fla.
Services will be held tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. in the Holloway Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank A. Baker, pastor of the Riverside Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Parsons Cemetery.
