Brier Hill - Our community was grieved to hear of the death of Chas. Ackerman at his home early Friday morning. Mr. Ackerman had been suffering from heart trouble for the past six weeks, and quietly passed away while asleep. He was a man of sterling qualities and will be missed by a wide circle of friends. His funeral was held Sunday at 1:30 pm, Rev. Myers of the Stone Church officiating. Burial was made in Brier Hill cemetery. Besides his sorrowing wife, he leaves a son, Frank and two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Thomas, Morristown, and Mrs. Charles Perry.
