Mrs. Mary E. Good, 89, HAIDA Manor, Hastings, formerly of Flinton, died Wednesday morning May 3, 2000, at the manor. She was born Feb. 10, 1911, in Flinton, the daughter of the late Valentine K. and Emma J. (Boring) Gallaher. She married Isaac Good June 27, 1928, in White Township. He died Dec. 18, 1959. Surviving are a son, Francis L. of Palmer, Alaska; a sister, Verda McCracken of Northern Cambria; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchidren. She was preceded in death by two sons: Robert and Raymond; and a daughter, Kathleen. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
GOOD – Services for Mary E. Good will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow. Interment will be made at Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Blair, Walter and Raymond; and six sisters: Anna Kough, Laudelle Beers, Melissa Youngkin, Linda Marshall, Bertha Black and Janet Shea.
