Mrs. Beers, 72, of Blandburg, died at 3:30 a.m. today, March 15, 1993, at home, after an extended illness. She was born February 23, 1921, in Beaver Valley, the daughter of the late Valentine and Emma Jane (Boring) Gallaher. She married Denver A. Beers, who died March 13, 1992. Surviving are five children: Etta Shank of Willowick, Ohio, Frances Simmons of Chesapeake, Va., Lemoine of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Eugene and Peggy Booterbaugh of Glasgow; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Mary Good of Fallentimber RD, Verda McCracken of Flinton RD and Jeanetta Shea of Freehold, N.J. Mrs. Beers was affiliated with the Christian Fellowship Church of Roseland. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Donald J. Gibbons funeral Home, Coalport.
BEERS---Services for Laudelle Beers of Blandburg will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Donald J. Gibbons funeral Home, Coalport, by Pastor Sandy Hommer. Interment at Beaver Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Roseland Christian Fellowship, P.O. Box 119, Glasgow, Pa. 16644. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jane; sisters, Bertha Igou, Ruth Youngkin, Florence Mackey, Annie Kough and Linda Marshall, and brothers, William, Raymond, Blair, Bruce and Woodrow.
