Mary Elizabeth, the daughter of B. F. and N. W. Auxier, married Samuel Harvey Irwin on 1 April 1886. They weere the parents of five children. Two of the children, Ona and Otis, died in infancy.
Mary was survived by her husband, three daughters Maud Garrison, Gertrude Garrison, and Rosella Ricket; three step-ons Ortie, Edd and Pearl Irwin; one brother and one sister.
The funeral was held at Pleasant Hill Church on 6 March 1921. J. H. Voliva officiated and was assisted by Cyrus Maulding and J. H. Allen.
